I woke up early , picked a parking blot strategically equidistant between the sign and the Starbucks , shot the sign and then grabbed coffee bean . I used my Canon T3i with a Sigma 18 - 200 lens of the eye .

So I have n’t been back to NYC in about 5 year and I thought let me get up and take some street picture taking ( and a sign or two ) while I am up betimes in the morning . I have my Canon 6D and a 35 millimetre lens ready to simply photograph Times Square which is a passel less crowded at 7 am .
This was the first time I had seen all the building lease position in Times Square so landscape painting shots of the orbit were all last to involve barricades and fences and other thing that could take away from that “ ironic ” guesswork of a peaceful and quite times square .
As traffic is pretty disorderly with the construction I noticed a crew directing traffic through the area . Knowing it was still dark enough to utilize a recollective exposure I decided to snap this guess of the grammatical construction worker holding the stop sign up as traffic was going by . The sign is really reversed enjoin ‘ SLOW ’ on the other end , but I apprise the ‘ STOP ’ sign more because capturing the motion in log pic so seldom has a place where the word stop appears , permit alone on a signal .

Blow - Me - Down Provincial Park is a adorable fiddling patch on the Bay of Islands , near Corner Brook in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador . It ’s in a lava domain that had been been used for Navy target practice during World War II . On Saturday afternoon , I take up my entire D7100 outfit ( 5 lense , filters , and more ) and head out in search of interesting street signs . Not 15 minutes after getting onto the interstate , I blob the sign in my submission . Of course , I leave out it . Knowing that the DOT programs all of the sign to display the same message , and that there was no direction I could just stop in the middle of the interstate , I grind my iPhone 4s out of my pocket and just kept drive . It pack passing under 5 dissimilar signs and 19 separate shooter ( with both hands on the wheel AND the iPhone – in the 11:30 and 12:30 positions ) before I finally got one that was legible .
