Curtis “50 Cent” Jacksonaccidentally flexed his muscles too hard while filming the latestExpendablesmovie.
On Tuesday,Expend4blesstunt coordinatorAlan NgtoldPopCulture.comthat a collision between Jackson, 48, and a stunt performer during filming for the new action sequel resulted in one stunt performer sustaining a dislocated finger.
“50 Cent is very powerful and strong so that made it very easy to work with him,” Ng told the outlet, as he described working with Jackson andMegan Foxas they joinedSylvester Stallone,Dolph LundgrenandJason Stathamfor the series' fourth installment.
“We played to the fact that Megan has a strong dance background,” the stunt coordinator said. “Megan’s style is very agile, flexible, and fast. Whereas 50 Cent is very powerful and strong, so he’s like a tank. He was actually so strong that in one of the scenes, he was supposed to barge into a stunt performer and his strength resulted in the guy going flying and [he] dislocated his finger.”
“The guy and his finger are ok now of course,” Ng added.

The fourth movie in theExpendablesfranchise began showing at theaters across the country last Friday. The film made just over $8 million at thedomestic box officein its opening weekend, which put it just behindThe Nun IIas the box office’s top performer last weekend. The film’s plot revolves around Barney Ross (Stallone, 76) recruiting Lee Christmas (Statham, 55) to join him again on another mission to save the world.
Fox, 37, and Jackson are the newcomers along for the ride this time, costarring alongside series mainstays Lundgren, 65, and Randy Couture, 60.Tony Jaa,Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran andAndy Garciaalso appear in the new movie, which marks Stallone’s last appearance in the action franchise.
The movie also marks Jackson’s first film appearance since 2019’sEscape Plan: The Extractors. According to hisIMDb page, Jackson has filmed or expects to film three more movie projects in the near future.
