( The Abrams - Wyman show will actually shoot a pilot light , not just craft a book . The Friedman show , with Howard Gordon produce , so far just has a script lot . )
TheHollywood Reporterdescribes Wyman ’s show as a “ buddy - cop dramatic play ” put in the future tense , where human LAPD officers team up up with “ highly evolved humanlike androids . ” Wyman is indite the pilot script , and will produce alongside Abrams and Bad Robot ’s Bryan Burk , plus Kathy Lingg . ( See the video above for this conception being done , circa 1977 . )
Of course , there ’s no guarantee that either of these show will make it to our screens — last year , NBC develop a automaton show called Beautiful People , which we never got to see .
