Solo : A Star Wars Storywas successful , but not to the level of its Star Wars predecessors . Andwhile perceptiveness for the moviehas grown in the old age since its release , you just get the sensory faculty that Lucasfilm is done with it , even witha potential Lando showfloating in the air .
However , Ehrenreich has always said he could come up back if expect — and in a raw interview , he gave a really good answer as to why . Speaking toUproxxabout his new movieCocaine Bear(produced by Solo ’s original director Phil Lord and Chris Miller ) , Ehrenreich said that , because the flick was treated mostly as an ancestry story , he did n’t experience he really got tobe the iconic “ Han Solo”for that long and he would bed more of that .
“ If it was the right iteration and the right thing , I would bonk [ to come back ] , ” the actor say . “ Because , for me , in the first flick you watch him become Han . I take to be Han Solo for thelast 15 minutesof the movie , maybe . And so being Han Solo is the fun part . And I have no fucking idea if there is ever a world where any of that happens , and if it befall , great , if it does n’t , whatever . But it was really peachy to … that ’s what ’s invoke to me about it , because in a way they build this sort of origin history for when he becomes who he is , but then that bozo is the guy cable that ’s really fun and it ’s a ball to play that grapheme specifically . ”

“ I think the original vibration of all that stuff and nonsense was almost more like an Indiana Jones theme where you would get to watch this guy be that guy over the row of a few picture , ” Ehrenreich continued . “ Anyway , so that ’s appealing about it to me is that character and getting to do that . ”
As he say , though , “ I have no fucking idea if there is ever a world where any of that happens , ” and if the principal actor in question does n’t know , betting odds are it ’s not happening . But never say never . Star Wars in the retiring few years has certainly shown it has no problem bring popular legacy characters into other projects ( Darth Vader in Rogue One , Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian / Book of Boba Fett , Princess Leia in Obi - Wan Kenobi ) , so maybe the Lando show happen and we get Han . Or maybe a few years down the road , Solo 2 happens . But either way , it ’s very overnice to conceive about Ehrenreich wanting to toy that case again . I just hope this is n’t all my fault .
