This coming Sunday , 5/13 , join your fellow io9ers in San Francisco for your first ( or 10th ) viewing of awful moving picture The Avengers . Afterwards , we ’ll stick around for drinks , food , and hanging out .

Special Note : This is not a 3D show because — permit ’s face it — 3D suck . If you are dying to see it in 3D there is a 5 PM 3D show at the same theatre and you’re able to still meet up afterwards .
hang OUT AFTER : Jillian’s(downstairs at the Metreon ) , right after the motion-picture show . Drinks and ginmill food ! fulfil near the bar , and say hi to several of io9 ’s writers , editors , and moderators who will be in town for this fine issue . We will be the 1 with io9 sticker .
