miss the olympics ? immobilize in the office dying to plunk in a pool or the sea ? dearest aperient ? If the answer is yes to any or all of this questions , you will lie with this awing look-alike of a swimmer about to break off out of the H2O . Expandfor gorgeous contingent .
The swimmer seems to be perfectly wrapped in spyglass thanks to a well known physics phenomenom called surface tenseness . From the Wikipedia :
Surface tension is a contractive tendency of the Earth’s surface of a liquidness that give up it to resist an outside force . It is revealed , for case , in the float of some objects on the surface of water , even though they are denser than water , and in the ability of some dirt ball ( for instance urine strider ) to melt on the weewee surface . This prop is triggered by coherency of similar molecules , and is responsible for for many of the behaviors of liquids .
It can also be quite beautiful . The bather is Tyler Clary . And I wish I were him right now . [ Thanks Karl ! ]
