Shuckedis bringing corn to the big screen.
TheBroadwaymusical had its closing night on Sunday, and afterward, producer Mike Bosner announced onstage that a feature film is in the works.
The officialShuckedInstagram accountshared the clipand wrote, “Eternally grateful for the Broadway community and for you #MotherShuckers who embraced our little town. Second slide for some news about what’s next for the corn.”

Jason Michael Berman and Jordan Moldo are producing on behalf of Mandalay Pictures, along with Alan Fox. Horn, Clark, McAnally and Jack O’Brien (who directed the musical on Broadway) are executive producing.
No cast members have been revealed for the movie yet.

The show opened at New York City’s Nederlander Theatre on April 4, 2023. Its story is about the fictional Cobb County, which panics when its corn crops mysteriously start dying.
Shucked’sNorth American tourlaunches this fall in Nashville. The show will also premiere in London in 2025, and a spring 2026 Australian production is in the works too.
