Digitimes is claiming that Nintendo is give a problem do unspoilt on its promise to rage upWii product , something that was set up for June , thanks to a shortage of IC chips and PCBs . This mean that the global Wii dearth will continue well into the second half of 2007 , the vacation season and probably into 2008 as well . Update 2 : Nintendo has this command to make :
“ Nintendo has no alteration to declare to its most recent shipment prognosis at this time . ”
So no freight forecast changes , but it ’s not quite a denial that they ’re not having problems . Everything ’s still up in the air for now .
