After a very good installment all about brother and sister and magical trumpery dances under the Earth light , The 100 deliver last nighttime ’s episode . Which was all about torture being bad . In case you did n’t make love , torture is bad . Do n’t torture Thomas Kid . Spoilers in the lead …
Sorry about missing last week ’s episode which was essentially like Cinderella — if Cinderella live on under the floor board in a starship and was monitor by her blood brother who has the brain of a tiny mouse . That was a with child episode . My personal preferred second was when Octavia is take in a applesauce mask to the trash youth dance , and she tug at her ratty trash tank top dress because she ’s ego conscious . Octavia , it ’s OK ! Everything is garbage on the Ark , you are favourable that you even have clothes !
It was a great episode — claps to everyone involve , because it was big and precisely the right amount of schmaltz this show can get out with , and should . Plus we kind of bang why Bellamy is a full lunatic : Because he smash everything ( in his mind ) .
Now moving on to this week … wow , the grounders . How hot was that Grounder , AMIRITE ? Needless to say I was VERY surprised when Bellamy strip the Grounder down to his gasp , and all that was revealed was hairless BA and bold tribal - corresponding tattoo ( but not like the atrocious Doug - the - frat guy tribal tatts of the early nada ) . No , these had a flair all to themselves .
So La Bamba abduct the Groundling that he left chained in his cave . He institute him home for torture , and storm the torment break as if it was handle by a bunch of idiot children . Which … hey wait !
You see Pretty - Hair - Pretty - Face Boy has been stabbed AND poison . Clarke ( Boy ’s Name ) manages to get the knife out AND get back in touch with the Ark. Thus allowing her mother to verbalise with her and guide her through the knife removal . This also allow Clarke to shout at her Mom through the only mean of communication and basically scream “ you ’re the bad Mom FOREVER and I ’ll never do what you say NEVER . ” Ok ok , the big takeaway is the Groundling poisoned his knife , and only he has the counterpoison . So what do the child do ? Beat him senseless and scream “ recite ME YOUR SECRETS . ”
Why they are surprised this does n’t work is beyond me . “ JUST dig HIM . STAB HIM WITH HIS OWN POISON tongue . STAB HIM . STAB HIM IN THE HAND , NO NOT WITH THE OTHER tongue WITH THE POISON KNIFE , ” was basically all I was shout out at the tv set during this scene . But or else Octavia stab herself because the Groundling has a crush on her . And then he reveals the counterpoison . Good job everyone — you ’re all basically take a crap at selection , besides the young woman who has lived in a prison most of her life .
But at the end of the Clarence Shepard Day Jr. , I wish this erotic love connection . Team Groundling Abs .
go on to the Ark , which was infinitely more interesting this go round . I ’m find that The 100 sort of swings the pendulum of interest towards the Ark or towards the Earth each episode . Rarely are both storylines full . But that ’s o.k. , as long as one or the other is entertaining .
So , on the Ark , Clarke ’s Mom is about to get in trouble for secern everyone that they were all endure to die . My preferent part of the episode was actually in this meeting when Clarke ’s Mom says , “ hey what about all those flare we saw ? ” And Kane says “ More false Leslie Townes Hope ? ” My heart roll out so far back into my skull , I found previous Jr. High fantasy of Hook ’s Rufio gather aside . amount ON . Thankfully , we were swiftly innovate to Diana , who is not suspicious at all .
Diana is the work year drawing card , and you’re able to tell that from her perfectly highlighted hair’s-breadth . She was on the council and is n’t anymore , and distinctly this is the episode where she get back on the council . And voila , she does . There ’s allegedly some sort of rebellion going on , or peradventure Diana made it up , or made it befall . Either direction she weasels her way back into the governing party of the Ark. And from there a massive plot twist is revealed , there are only 700 spots on regaining ships and there are 2,000 people live in the Ark. Which made me say , “ Aaaaah , so that ’s why they ’re so free with the ceaseless floating . ”
Why humanity would build a ship that would save us , without enough life boats to pass domicile baffle board the mind — even the Chancellor of the Exchequer name checks the Titanic . Do they not remember Victor Garber ’s words of warning ? “ I ’m sorry that I did n’t build up you a stronger ship , untested Rose . ” perhaps , MAYBE there were enough boats for everyone at one prison term , and if so OK , that ’s perceivable , but these number seem wildly out of whack ( JK I did n’t do any maths ) . So we ’ll have to see what happens with that and with pestiferous Diana !
However the most interesting moment out of the whole goddam tamale was Kane , returning to his religious stomping primer coat to irrigate the spirit tree or whatever . Kane divulge down to his female parent , lamenting that he does n’t know who he is any longer . No shit , Kane . You have made some badly confutable judgement call as of late . But this personal turn could be good . I see redemption in his future .
