A Florida woman has been arrested after police found her naked outside of her residence, then recovered an organ inside, which turned out to be the woman’s mother’s heart, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Earleen Tucker, 58, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with premeditated homicide, court records show.
As one officer began looking around the house to find clothing for Tucker, he knocked on a door to discover her mother, Lucille Tucker, dead in the room “with trauma to her chest,” the affidavit says.
The organ on the floor was later determined to be “the majority of a heart,” the affidavit says, adding that the injury to Lucille’s chest was “consistent with an evisceration of the heart.”
Earleen was taken into custody and is being held without bond, online court records show.
During the interview, she allegedly said her mother was “mean” to her because of her skin color, per the affidavit. She also said she cut out Lucille’s heart in order to “inspect it,” police claim.
“She was mean to me but I didn’t care,” she allegedly said, the affidavit states. “I loved her Black color, but she didn’t love mine.”
Earleen also said she would not speak with a White officer, per the affidavit. Once assigned a Black officer, she said she had learned through “investigation” that she was a White woman and “could not give up power and control to a Black man.”

According to family members who spoke with investigators, Earleen had been hospitalized in 2009 due to mental health issues, the affidavit states.
Lucille moved to Tallahassee last year so that Earleen, a healthcare worker, could take care of her, family members say, per the affidavit.
Earleen has entered a plea of not guilty, court records show. It is unclear if she’s retained an attorney to speak on her behalf.
