EJ Johnson is setting the record straight on a recurring question he gets about his gender identity.

During a visit to E! News’Just the Sipseries, the son of basketball star Magic Johnson andRich Kids of BeverlyHillsstar, 26,told host and friend Justin Sylvester that he does not have any plans to transition — despite his love for gender-flexible fashion.

“I like myself the way that I am,” explained Johnson, who came out as gay in 2013. “I’m very happy with myself.”

He went on to explain that fashion has allowed him to experiment with different styles, but that those are just temporary. “I can be [masculine], I can be [feminine]. I can do whatever I want with it and work with it,” he said. “If I want to [dress in drag], then I’ll do that. But I don’t want to do that all the time.”

Also during hisJust the Sipchat, Johnson told Sylvester that he’s finally gotten to a place in his life where he’s comfortable with himself.

“I feel like now is the best time of my evolution,” Johnson said. “I’m always constantly doing something else. I handle myself a lot differently and I’m happiest with this new person I’ve become of the past year or so. I’ve done a lot of growing, I think.”

As for romance, Johnson admitted he’s ready to settle down and is looking for Mr. Right.

“A lot has changed,” he said. “I realize I’m not going to meet my man at a club, and that’s where I used to troll for men. We all had to go through a hoe phase, and I think I’m successfully out of mine. I’m done. I had a really good run and I had a lot of good memories … and terrible ones … but mostly good ones!”

“[My hoe phase was] very successful,” Johnson joked. “I just wanted to feel sexy and get male attention and get guys and do that whole experience because I didn’t really have that before. And so when I started to get it, I just took it and ran with it. I needed it to come to this point where I’m like, ‘That was great and cool.’ But it’s time for something real. I never really had a serious, serious relationship before.”
